Integration Requirements
For smooth integration with ZKTeco devices, please make sure of the following:
- The device has cloud server settings available.
- Alternatively, the device is connected to BioTime.
- The firmware is updated to support Push protocols.
- The network connection is stable for real-time data transfer.
- The API settings on the receiving server are correctly set up.
Protocol Types Explained
PUSH Protocol
The device automatically sends data to your server in real-time. Fast and efficient for instant updates.
REST API
Uses standard web API requests to get and manage data from the device.
SDK-Based
Needs constant polling and custom development. More complicated and less efficient to use.
